Stuck on a board, or something is broken? Start here.
A real person reads this. We usually reply within two business days. If you are reporting a bug, telling us your device model, your OS version and the level number saves a round trip.
Every colour on the board has one starting dot. Drag a line out of it. The level is solved when every square is covered and no two colours cross. Every colour has to draw a line — leaving one parked on its dot does not count.
There are three ways out, and you will never need a fourth:
Every level has exactly one solution, proved before it ships. If a board feels impossible, there is something on it to see.
Clearing levels, the daily check-in (up to 200 coins on day 7), and the challenge boards (up to 150). Coins buy hints, which is the only thing to spend them on. There is nothing to purchase with real money — the game has no in-app purchases and no ads.
Places open as you clear the ones before them, and a country opens only once the country before it is finished. If somewhere reads Not charted yet, that part of the world has no levels built yet — it is not a bug, and nothing you do will unlock it.
The Challenges leaderboard is the only part of the game that uses the network. Everything else, including all 200 levels, plays offline. If the board will not load, check your connection and reopen the app — it reads the rankings once when the screen opens.
Check Music in the settings sheet — it is a separate switch from Sound Effect and from Vibration. On iPhone, also check the physical silent switch on the side of the phone.
Progress is stored on the device, not in an account, so it does not follow you to a new phone and reinstalling can clear it. We cannot restore progress remotely — there is no account to restore it from. If it vanished without an uninstall, please tell us what happened; that would be a bug and we want to know.
How to Play appears on the home screen the first time you open the app, and only counts as seen once you dismiss it. You can reopen it any time from the settings sheet.
What the app collects, and how to have it deleted, is set out in the Privacy Policy. To delete your leaderboard entry, email us with the subject Colorful World — delete my data and include your in-game display name from the Challenges screen.
The nineteen country tracks are licensed instrumental music, credited in full inside the app's repository. Artists are credited as a courtesy; the licence does not require it.
